Don't Be a Jerk - Get Your Ex Back with Class

If anybody has ever said that they enjoyed going through a break up, then they were either lying or a little bit crazy. Sure, there are times when splitting up are the best thing you can do, but most relationships can be saved if you have the right plan to follow. The first rule of getting back together is to not play games. You are dealing with two people's lives--real lives--and that means both parties are worthy of respect. Yes, you may be right, but if you can find any part of your position that you can compromise on, then doing so will go a long way toward working things out.
Another important thing you can do is apologize. Be careful here, though. How you apologize makes a big difference. The two keys to a good apology are to be specific and sincere. Saying, "I'm sorry for whatever it is I did", or "I'm sorry you got upset" really aren't apologies at all. If you want to get your ex back, then know exactly what you're apologizing for, and mean it when say it.

This very important step turns the tables and changes you from the pursuer into the perused. Now all of the sudden your ex is calling, asking to see you, and expressing just how much she missed you.
